The Deliver Net team is donning the lycra and attempting a mammoth 300mile cycle ride to raise much-needed funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. ‘Team Deliver Net’ is aiming to complete the challenge by the end of January and will be covering the miles on road bikes or static exercise bikes, very kindly provided by Grand Fitness Skipton. Sadly, dementia care is woefully under-funded and our understanding of the condition, and its treatment, barely scratches the surface. The Deliver Net team once again exhibited at the Scottish Care Conference in Glasgow on 17th November at the Hilton hotel. With a fantastic list of speakers and workshops, it was no surprise to see a record attendance – with over 450 delegates and over 70 exhibitors. Our two stands, focussing on our dementia care and activities range, along with our hugely popular interior design service, were extremely busy.
